Hi, I’m Dahdrian Duncan. I work with people who are doing a lot of “pushing through” life while quietly feeling overwhelmed, emotionally tired, or stuck in patterns they can’t seem to think their way out of.
My style is warm, collaborative, and straightforward when it needs to be. I offer a person-centered, culturally grounded, trauma-informed space where you don’t have to shrink, translate yourself, or pretend you’re okay. We’ll make room for the parts of your story that feel heavy, the parts that feel confusing, and the parts of you that have been on pause for a long time.
I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity concerns, and major life transitions, as well as the everyday stressors that can quietly wear you down—grief, caregiver burnout, postpartum adjustment, career changes, chronic illness, and the emotional weight of constantly being “the strong one.”
With over 13 years in behavioral health, I’ve worked across hospitals, community mental health, shelters, substance use treatment, child and adolescent services, and corrections. That breadth shaped how I see people: as whole, layered, resilient, and deserving of care that fits their real life.
In our work, I draw from evidence-based tools like CBT, DBT, ACT, solution-focused work, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness—always tailoring the approach to your needs. Healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. You won’t be treated that way here.
